COMPANY BACKGROUND

Medical Motion, a division of Sports Motion, Inc. (SMI) was founded through the efforts and experience of Chris Swanner, Sales Director of Sports Motion, Inc and Jay Lomberk, owner and president of Sports Motion. The Medical Motion division was a natural outgrowth of Sports Motion. Using the same basic technology as developed for athlete training, SMI moved into the medical field producing systems designed for applications such as physical therapy, injury rehab, gait analysis and bio-mechanics research.

SMI developed a portable field system, called Pro-Trainer, that combined the latest breed of digital video camcorders with the power of personal computers to produce a totally new and powerful tool for hospitals, clinics and sports medicine and research facilities at all levels. This new innovation delivers everything needed for video motion analysis including instant replay, slow motion, freeze-frame and more, all at a full 60 frames per second. And, best of all, the cost for these new motion analysis tools is well within the reach of any organization whether large or small.
